Glenda Love-Burden

September 17, 1946 — December 29, 2021

Glenda Burden-Love, was born to the late Evelyn Estes, on September 17, 1946, in Macon, Georgia. She was a kind, caring and fun love soul, who loved God and had an abundance of faith. Glenda received her Education in Macon, Georgia and the Philadelphia Public School System. In 1966, she joined the Hortense Allen Dancers and the A.G.M.A. She danced professionally for 20 years in the Untied States and overseas. Glenda or "Bobbi Love" as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was a woman of zeal and could run circles around most people half her age. She was a nature lover who enjoyed being out and about. Being out in the sunshine was one of her favorite things to do- she loved getting a tan. Glenda would also get up every day at 5:00 am and provide food and blankets to the homeless. She always said that Jesus said "we should always take care of one and another." Glenda also had a love for cooking and would always make more then enough. She would say, " you never know who might drop by." She was usually right!!! Glenda was a kidney transplant survivor and always had great faith in Jesus. She was always saying, "when things went well, that's JJ(Just Jesus)." We all miss that wonderful, bright smile that would let you know that all was well. Her family meant the world to her and we miss her. She will always be a part of us, and be with in our hearts. Glenda's mother and father, William and Evelyn Estes, preceded her to Glory. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, one son, Adrise Love; one daughter; Tyesha Burden; her two brothers Donald Love and William Estes Jr.; two sisters, Sandra and Cherokee Hill; and a host of grandchildren, great-grands, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
