Nathaniel Worsley

September 9, 1965 — October 27, 2021

On September 9,1965, Nathaniel Worsley Jr. was born to Nathaniel Worsley Sr. and Florence Brown Worsley. Known affectionately as "Nat" or "Nate", he was the eldest of three children. As a child, Nat played the piano and loved playing board games and riding his bike and his skateboard. During his formative years, Nat was a member of Pentecostal Bridegroom Apostolic Church where he attended Sunday School and church with his family. Nathaniel was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. He joined the high school track team and later graduated from Northeast high School in1983. In his pursuit of higher education, he attended Cheyney University and Lyons Technical Institute. As a teenager, Nat was a self-taught auto mechanic. He read voraciously about various cars, but his first love was his first car, a bright orange late 70's Mustang. Nat could be found under the hood of that car for hours at a time. He later attended Lincoln Technical Institute for automotive technology. Nathaniel enjoyed repairing cars. Until he left this earth, he found enjoyment in fixing cars and was sought out by many friends and associates for his talents with vehicles and landscaping services. During his leisure time, Nat enjoyed movie theaters, comedy shows and shopping at flea markets. He especially liked dinning out at Olive Garden since the hot breadsticks were one of his favorite treats. Nathaniel enjoyed traveling and spending time with his loving and supportive long-time partner, Latasha Kent. Nathaniel leaves to mourn, his two sons, Jaron Justin Worsley and Donte Christopher Worsley, their mother Allison Belcher. Predeceased by his parents and his brother, Daniel, Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memory, one sister Natalie Lynne Worsley-Johnson; one niece, Naterra Lynne Johnson; two maternal aunts, Ida Wilson and Elaine Brewer; one paternal aunt, Victoria Williams, a host of cousins, friends and family.
