Although Rufus retired from his job of labor, he then realized that God had a purpose for his life and gave him a new position as a servant in a new fellowship. My husband took his position very seriously and served well in it. He loved and cared for everybody and everyone loved him in return. Rufus touched many lives in this journey of servant hood. His personality and character were a great example of the words to a song If I can touch somebody along the way than my living would not be in vein. Rufus truly loved his wife and family he was a great husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother in-law and friend. On Thursday, May 21, 20202 God dispatched his angel of mercy to bring his weary servant home no more sorrow, no more pain, safe in the arms of Jesus.
