Alberta M. Ross was born on June 22, 1951, to William and Julia Ross. Alberta, a twin, was the 10th of eleven children born of the union. Alberta was educated by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia School system, graduating from Maria Goretti High School for Girls.
Alberta proudly served in the United States Army, receiving an Honorable discharge at the completion of her tour. SheShe worked at Bell Telephone and the Naval Yard. "Bert" as she was affectionally called, loved music and had a beautiful voice. She adored Smoley Robinson and could be found singing with her nieces as background singers. Bert loved the Lord and was baptized at Deliverance Evangelical Baptist Church.Bert loved her family and was preceded in death by her Parents and siblings. She leaves to mourn her twin brother Albert, sister Elaine and a host of family, and friends.
