DEYUANNA ANDREA DIEDRA WOOD was born on March 12, 1979 in Philadelphia, PA to Ralph and Dorothy Wood. She was formally educated in the Philadelphia Public School System and graduated from Frankford High School.
"Yuanna" as she was affectionately known, joined the United States Air Force in April 1998 where she was a Military Police Officer for 8 years. After military service, she worked as a Police Officer at Philadelphia Veterans Hospital for 17 years until she became ill in 2023. Yuanna was a very loving and devoted daughter and sister.
Although she never married or had children, her mother was her life, and she took pleasure in caring for her family. She loved everything Disney and often took trips to Disney World with her mom. She was also an avid Amazon shopper as that was her favorite store. She also loved to hang out with her sister Terez, reading, cooking, plants and sharing a good laugh.
Although she was raised in Christianity, she joined Israel United in Christ in 2019 where she was a devoted member until her untimely death.
Deyuanna leaves to cherish her beloved memory: Her (Mother) Dorothy Wood, (Father) Ralph Wood, (2 Sisters) Terez and Tayler Wood, (9 Uncles) John Doughty, Jr. (Robina), Michael Doughty (deceased), Ronald Doughty (Debbie), Richard Doughty, Mark Doughty(Melissa), Kevin Doughty (Samantha), Rudy Wood (deceased), Raymond Wood (deceased) and Fred Wood (Toni), (4 Aunts) Pearlina Wood, Mary Wood, and Jonnita Doughty, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
