Dwight Stephen Bishop

Dwight Stephen Bishop was born on September 6th 1946, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. On June 9 2021 he made his transition from life. He was preceded in death by his father Mr. Freddie Bishop, his mother Mrs. Wille Mae Bishop, his Sister Ms. Frederica Bishop, His Son Derrick Bishop his Grand-daughter Joi Bishop, his Nephew Darryl Bishop and his son-in-law, Anthony Ginyard. He was educated in the Philadelphia School System., in 1964 Dwight began his career in the Commercial Cleaning Business. He was employed by the Arthur Jackson Cleaning Company until 2010Upon his departure from the company, he was a Self-Employed Professional Window Cleaner. Free Spirited and fun loving, Steph as he was affectionately called by his immediate family, took on life with enthusiasm. From a long-term relationship, became the father of Arthur, Cynthia and Stephanie. Although not infallible he was the true definition of "Protector and Provider." On April 25, 1970 he married Eloise Blackwell. This union remained intact for 51 years until his death. He was a funny man, always joking with his grandkids and fixing things around the house. His hobbies cars, horses, boxing and watching his favorite television shows. Dwight was know for sharing his wisdom and knowledge of life to anyone willing to listen and always gave his best advice when asked. He is Survived by his wife, Eloise Bishop, his sister Hazel Bishop six children, Arthur Cornish, Cynthia Jones, Stephanie Ginyard, Dwight Bishop II. Faith Bishop, Eboni, One daughter-in-law, one brother-in-law, twenty-nine grandchildren, eighteen grandchildren two special great grandchildren , sister-in-laws, four brothers-in-law two nephews, two nieces and a host of extended nieces, nephews and cousins
