Elick Cohen-Dobson

Elick (Puggy) Leon Cohen-Dobson was born on Thursday April 15, 1976 to Elick L. Cohen and Marlene E. Dobson. Lovingly nickname 'Puggy', he was his mother's only son and her baby. Born and raised in the Tasker Homes/Grays ferry area of South Philly. As a young man he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He attended Alcorn Elementary and Audenried Jr. High School. He completed his high school education at the Scotland school for Veterans Children in Chambersburg, PA. During his time at Scotland, Elick exemplified strong leadership skills and was a star basketball, football and baseball player. His love of sports continued to be evidenced through his support of his younger cousins' varsity, collegiate and professional levels. While studying Business Administration at Strayer University he was on the dean's list. He worked for various industries ( banking, insurance and security). His entrepreneurial spirit led him to obtain his CDL and establish 'Dobson Transport & Logistics LLC" with the goal of growing his business as a father and daughter enterprise. Puggy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, reading and researching his family genealogy.
