Frances Walker

Our beloved Sister, Aunt, Niece and Friend Frances Walker was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 15th 1944. "Franny" as she was called by her loved ones and friends, accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the 19th Street Baptist Church. Franny departed this world surround by her loved ones October 13th 2021. Franny was educated in the Philadelphia school system. She graduated from South Philadelphia High School and continued her education at the Community College of Philadelphia where she obtained her Associates Degree. Franny was a skilled Senior Central Processing Technician and started her career at Methodist Hospital where she worked for many years. She continued her career at the Graduate Hospital until her retirement in 2007. Franny often escaped the city to enjoy the casinos in Atlantic City and Delaware with her sister and other family and friends. She enjoyed her birthday lunches with the golden girls: Rachel, Kathryn and Pat. Franny loved her cat's Tyson and Shardai. She often had to contend with them begging for treats and taking over her favorite reclining chair. Franny was always there for her family to support them in good and bad times. Her absence will leave a large void in the hearts of her family. Franny leaves to morn: sister Cheryl A. Ramseur, Brother Lloyd Dennis Ramseur, Aunt Rachel Mercir, sister-in-law Addie M. Walker, Nephews, Lloyd Anthony Ramseur, Lamar R. Ramseur, Allen C. Walker and Sidney Smith, Niece Denene Walker-Jones, godchildren Adrienne, Lafayette, Courtney and Jamia, Special Cousins Kelly, Robyn and Zack, close friends Kathryn, Pat and Verdell, along with a host of other family members and friends.
