Gloria Mae Bellamy

Gloria Bellamy was born on April 5, 1942 in Guyton, Georgia. Gloria was the oldest child of five children. Gloria was a beautiful soul and let a life of pure courage and strength.

 

Was a virtuous woman of God. She was the epitome of virtuous, loving, graceful, patient kind and caring. Gloria met the love of her life Lucious Bellamy Jr. they got married and had David and Ronnie, both born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida they moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Terry and Jennifer were born. The family then moved to Willingboro, New Jersey. Gloria was supportive to Lucious needs and supportive of his business.

 

Gloria received her GED and obtained her CNA certificate in the 1980s she was a housewife ; but, make no mistake, she worked hard, maintaining her household and serving her family, breakfast, lunch and dinner ready every day. 

 

Gloria was a faithful member of the household faith  Apostolic Church. She gave her life to Chris in the 1990s, was baptized, and filled with the holy gospel. She loved the Lord and church. Sunday was the day, the house, and the yard were maintained. Some of gloria’s hobbies included, gardening, cooking baking, and raising her grandchildren. She was a part of the neighborhood watch, and was a friend and mother to all.

 

Gloria was known for her loving and giving heart . Among the many things she did, Gloria was supportive of the Willingboro track team. She was the true definition of a phenomenal wife, sister, mother, and grandmother and friend. Gloria was a hard worker and assisted her daughter Jennifer at the Allure Hair Salon. She prepared the towels answering the phone and assisted clients with appointments, and made clients feel comfortable and welcomed during the visit to the salon.

 

Gloria loved her grandbabies and always took great care of them. She enjoyed taking her children and grandchildren on vacation and cherish spending time with them. 

 

October 28, 2023 Gloria departed this life. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Arizona Flowers, and Clifford Young; two sisters, Thelma, and Benzie; two brothers, Rally, and Bubba; husband, Lucious Bellamy Jr. and her son, Ronnie Bellamy. 

 

Gloria is survived by her children, Jennifer, Jen, Claude, David Bellamy, and Terry Bellamy; Uncle, Nezzie Griffin; sister-in-law, Bishop, Ruby, Franklin, and Berniece Murchinsun; goddaughter, Zipporah, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
