Helena Wesley

Helena was born and raised in South Philadelphia to Winona Wesley and Warren Brewer in 1960. Helena went to South Philadelphia high school where she obtained her high school diploma and later worked at the Philadelphia School District for over 20years. Lady was common law married to Galveston Morris Jr. for 32 years and together they raised two children Shaneen Wesley and Galveston Morris 3rd.Lady was the sweetest person you could ever meet, her saying was "like me love me or leave me alone". She was known as "Big Mama" to a lot of us who hosted all the family functions bringing everyone together. Lady loved watching her kung fu, price is right and stories. lady leaves behind two children, Galveston Morris 3rd and Shaneen Wesley. Three granchildren, Yashanae, Galveston 4th and Makai. Three great grandchildren Myhaz, Hymza and Ahmaz. Five sisters, Vernita Tanya Winona Ovida and Willnetta. Four brothers Warren, Keith, Kevin (who preceded her in death) and Aaron. One living aunt, a Matriarch of our entire family Shirley Parks. As well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
