Josephine Taylor

   Josephine Taylor was born to the late Laura Taylor and Comese Taylor on August 7, 1937. She was affectionately known as "Josie". she was educated in Ridgeland, South Carolina, at Jasper County School System. 

    Josie moved to Philadelphia in 1958. Josephine lived a long, full life. She worked at Ron's Café, Candy Factory and also owned a daycare service, Which donated to a lot of organizations such as Veteran affairs and St. Jude Children's Hospital, just to name a few.

    Josie loved plants, traveling and most of all family gatherings. Josie will be missed dearly by her friends and all those who were fortunate to encounter her.

    Josephine was preceded in death by her Grandson; Keith Blake, great-Grandson; Rahsaan Chambers, and her best Friend; Roberta Williams. Josephine is survived by her children; Alfonso Taylor, Donald Taylor, Sandra Taylor, Patricia Taylor, Geraldine Taylor, William Taylor and Kenneth Taylor 22 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, 11 Great Great Grandchildren and 2 God daughters; Shellisha and Sherllisha William.
