LC Willis

L C Willis was born on Monday, April 12, 1937 in Macon GA to the lae Grady and Lula Willis. L C. was one of two children blessed to this unon. He began his educaton in the Macon public school system. L C his parents and his sister Annie with whom he ws very close, left Georgia and moved to philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1953. LC Met, courted, and married Helen Ma Forden and the have een together a happy fifty four years. LC had various jobs before he settled n the construction business. He remained with the same compan for forty ears before retiring. LC loved life he enjoyed sharing stories with his close friend Deacon James Fuller, while they were fishng wth his close buddies Bubba and Art, his ywo favorite spirituals were "I Got a Feeling Everything is Going to be Alright" and Precious Lord. and most importantly he loved traveling with his famil and friends. L C was an impeccale dresser with a wonderful snce of stle that complmented his beautiful smile. On saturday October 27, 2012 God in his infinite wisdom called our beloved L C home. L C leaves to cherish fond memories the love of his life, hs wife Helen his two children, son Faraaj, and daughter Sharon, his sister Annie, his Nephew Russell, one niece Karen, a great nephew Tyree, and a great-great nephew Jahlil, other relatves and friends.
