Malia Grace Johnson was born on March 25, 2020, in Philadelphia, Penn-sylvania. Quietly and peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026, God in His infinite wisdom called Malia home to sit around His heavenly throne.
Malia Grace Johnson, a precious 5-year-old who brought endless love and light into our lives.
She had a joyful and beautiful soul who deeply loved spending time with her parents, cousins, and grandparents. She was the perfect blend of both her mom and dad-silly and playful like her dad, yet quiet, calm, and gentle like her mom.
Malia had a special love for arts and crafts and could often be found drawing playing with her toys or on her tablet. She especially loved drawing smiling faces and hearts, filling everything around her with little pieces of joy. She also loved dancing and expressing herself in her own sweet way.
For five amazing years, she was truly our "road dog," always by our side wherever we went. She especially loved going downtown to see the bright city lights. With excitement, she would always ask, "Are we in the city?" just from seeing the lights shining around her.
She loved being close to her mom, especially at night, finding comfort in her arms. She also cherished the time she spent playing with her dad, laughing and enjoying every moment together.
Malia had big dreams for her future-she wanted to be a doctor and a
"shopper," as she would say. She loved fashion, enjoyed dressing up, and always looked forward to celebrating her birthday. She was also excited to meet her baby brother, and we are so grateful she did.
Malia's spirit will forever be cherished by her loving parents, Malik Johnson and Alicia Johnson; her brothers, Travis and Zion; her grandparents, Martin and Ruby Meadows, and Robert McKoy; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sharon Johnson, and her uncle, Rasul Johnson.
