Margaret Lucille Abel Cole, affectionately known as “Bunny’, was born on Friday, June 30, 1939, to the late Margaret Veronica and Albert Joseph Abel Sr. in Philadelphia, PA Bunny was the oldest sister to the late Albert Joseph Abel Sr., and Judith Ann Abel.
On Friday, February 10, 2023, Bunny quietly and peacefully entered God’s eternal rest. Bunny accepted the lord Jesus Christ as her Savior, and was baptized at the age of 15, at Mt. Moriah Temple Baptist Church in South Philadelphia.
Bunny was educated in the Philadelphia School System, graduating from Bok High School.
Bunny loved to dance and at the age of 12 studied ballet for 7 years, and also played the piano. Bunny also loved to sew. In the late 1970’s she enrolled in tailoring School and became a professional Seamstress. Her creativity was excellent and people near and far sought her expertise.
Bunny Started working for the city of Philadelphia at the age of 17. She worked as a clerk Typist throughout the city and retired after 32 years. On February 25, 1961 she was joined in Holy Matrimony with Kenneth Robert Cole and Their union produced a son, Kenneth Robert Cole Jr.
Bunny leaves to celebrate her new life, one son Kenneth Robert Cole Jr., daughter-in-law Diane Cole. 5 grandchildren, Kenneth III, Sherrie, Kendra, Rachael & Qiana. 8 great grandchildren, A.J., Nina, Chloe, MaKenzie, Issabella, Isaiah, & Milani.
Also sadly missed by a host of relatives and friends.
