Steven Long

Steven A. Long was born the youngest of six children on July 6th, 1946 to Roger E. Long Sr. and Rosie E. Long (Payne) in Philadelphia, Pa. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Roger E. Long Sr. and mother Rosie E. Long, his grandmother, Elizabeth Miller, sister, Sandra Cooper, brother, Joe Johnson, his favorite uncle Andrew Payne and his uncle Harry, William Payne and Arthur Smith, his aunt, Margaret Shuler (Charles). Stevens leaves to mourns his wife, Ruthie; two daughters, Karen Lloyd (Dwayne) and Shella Martin and their mother Pat Pearson; three grandchildren Janel (Michelle), Dwayne II and Kristian; one great granddaughter, Aylin Grey, sisters Gloria Williams and Tenise Whiteside (Keith); his brother Roger Long Jr. (Sarah) and Rudolph Long (Kitty); his aunt Dorothy Payne Smith; his two special friends Bernard Miles and Butch Wise and a very special niece Sha Kenyatta who was there until the end. A good friend and neighbor, Mr. Harvey and his barber of twenty years Derrick and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
