Theodore Tucker, the Prince of the Late Queen Rhoda Tucker and King Henry Tucker, was born September 30, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his sister Queen Patricia Tucker who was crowned and given her wings. Prince Teddy was educated in the Philadelphia School System. He was gainfully employed with the Philadelphia Electric Company where he worked dutifully until he retired. In 1973, Prince Teddy was united to Gwendolyn Tucker and from this union 4 Prince's were born. He lived an eventful life full of entrepreneurial ventures, one being H&T's Lounge, Later he welcomed his only Princess and youngest Prince with Natasha McCrimmon. Teddy was building the foundation for something great. "Teddy had a special way to make everyone feel like they were his favorite. He literally lit the room up with his smile, his voice to follow and always making people laugh. "Ted with the Kango" was known around the way for giving heart. "Uncle Ted" took pride in protecting and maintaining his kingdom. His 7th St community meant the world to him (especially his throne on Winton St.) and he showed it through his continuous actions and support. "Pop-Pop" always put family first , he never wanted to miss a chance to spend time with the people he loved. If it was a party, "Teddy Ted" was there front row, in the middle of the dance floor, and then of course helping to clean. "Uncle-Dad" stepped up and stood in when needed, he took pride in loving on his nieces and nephews. "Dad was a King", he loved every single one of his children and had a unique relationship with each of them. He was more than willing to give his first, last or everything to his children and tried his best to teach them all he knows, ( but his spaghetti will always be the best). "Dad left the business to the boys and preferred his Princess not lift a finger. He made it known that he was only a call away and if he needed to be there, he would. It was all about family to "Dad" and that showed on his face every day. He leaves to cherish his legacy his children, Lukee Tucker, Jermaine Tucker, David Tucker (Elizabeth), Theodore Tucker (Tamyra), Nathia Tucker, Nikel Tucker, Neandre McCrimmon, his grandchildren, Dylan Clark, Lu-Kee Tucker, Na'deem Tucker, Nylah Tucker, Na'hijh Tucker ,Marrah Tucker, Nikel Tucker Tucker,Jr., Kennedi Tucker, Nyles Randolph and Da'janae Tucker his brothers Henry (Marguerite), Lawrence Tucker and Gary Tucker (Audrey); his sisters, Barbara Thomas, Joyce Tucker, Ava Tucker, Bernadette Tucker, Catherine Tucker and Loretta; close friends, Roger, Ernie and Eric; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who he considered family.
