The Earthly physical journey for brother Wilbur James began June 14, 1937 in Florence South Carolina and his transition to glory began January 10, 2020 in Hospice Care at Centennial Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia. He was the eldest of seven children born to the late Archie and Katie McClennon James. Two brothers preceded him in death, Sylvester, and Harry. The family resided in Baltimore, MD. Wilbur relocated at an early age to Philadelphia. He was reared by his paternal aunt Georgia James Wilson, She was the matriarch of the James family.
